Understanding the Basics
To get a basic understanding of how Facebook works checkout the following elective class in the Prosper success center under elective classes; The Marketing Potential of Facebook
Inviting Friends to Page
- Click on username in the upper right hand corner of page
- Click on Friends
- The in the upper right hand corner click on + Find Friends
Connecting Blog Posts to Facebook Page
- Go to your latest blog post with your blog and copy the website address
- In Facebook click on username of Fanpage and the paste address blog post in the text bar
Daily Updates on Facebook
- Ask questions to get comments and likes
- Add content related to your online business once a day
Adding Photos and Albums
- Adding photos to the Fanpage catches peoples eye
- Create albums in your Fanpage to organize the photos
Using Contests and Giveaways
- Click on home from personal page
- On left hand side under Pages and Ads click on your Fanpage
- At top click on Edit Page, then Update Info
- Fill out the fields on this page regarding your business
