Prosper Partners with United Way for Sub for Santa

Every year around the Winter Holidays, Prosper teams up with United Way and their Sub for Santa program. United Way of Utah County Sub for Santa provides gifts for children through sponsors and is designed to foster self-sufficiency by helping applicants learn different ways to manage their time and money. With Prosper's help, United Way was able to help record 2,082 families with 5,801 children.

On Monday December 21st, Prosper's Santa's helpers delivered all the generous gifts that Prosper employees purchases for our 5 families.

These individuals all spoke of the gratitude seen and felt in each of these homes as they dropped off the Christmas gifts. Most families visited were very generous with chocolates, hugs, drawings, cookies, and thank you letters.

Here are two letters as they were written by the children themselves.

"Dear Santa: Thank you for bring lots of toys to the world and to me. I do not care how much toy or stuff. I could get from you Santa. You try to give people stuff they wont. I just wont some remote control car or a airhog airplane. I think I should get this because I broom every day when we finish eating. And because I mostly every Sunday and Saturday but other days I don't because we go to school. I hope you give pore people stuff to. I know you give some stuff because you're a nice guy. God bless you Santa and your family."

"Thank you sub for Santa for helping us out this Christmas. I thought Santa was going to forget about us but my mom said he was going to bring us a Christmas. We have been good and have good grades! P.S. My mom said you work hard every year, and I think how you'll come through the chimney, or you can come through the door, just don't slip on ice! Next year can you bring me a small penguin, in winter I'll take him out. We ask lots of questions but we could only write you once a year! Thank you for reading our letters. We love you."
