Rudy Ruettiger Visits Prosper

Rudy Ruettiger, widely known for his collegiate football career that inspired the motion picture “Rudy”, was welcomed as an honored guest by Prosper on November 11th, 2010.

Ruettiger was highlighted as the keynote speaker of the Utah Corporate Alliance’s 2011 reunion tour. After speaking at the corporate reunion, Ruettiger, a good friend of Prosper Owner Randy Garn, came to Prosper’s Provo locations to greet executives and entertain administration and sales employees. He presented a motivational message and then made time available for autograph signings and photographs.

A believer in the Law of Attraction and in hard work, Ruettiger taught Prosper employees that they should never quit pursuing their dreams and have courage to follow through and realize those dreams. He also taught that they need to commit to never give up and then determine that they will turn away from negativism and discouraging thoughts.

As his visit fell on Veteran’s Day, Rudy honored America and its veterans with a video depicting POWs and the American Flag. As a young man, Rudy joined the U.S. Navy and experienced firsthand the strong leaders serving America. Rudy’s words were deep and personable and a fitting tribute for the day.

Prosper and its employees look forward to a lasting relationship with Ruettiger and continuing to learn from his inspirational experiences.
