For the second consecutive year, Prosper joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah (BBBS of Utah) in the 2011 Bowl for Kidz Sake event.
The Bowl for Kidz Sake event invites businesses from Utah County to participate and sponsor bowling teams to help raise money for BBBS of Utah’s community and school based programs. This year, Prosper sponsored a team of six employees to participate at the event.
Tabb George, Community Partnership Coordinator at the Utah BBBS, thanked Prosper and its’ employees for their involvement and support at the event.
“Many thanks for your fantastic support for our Bowl for Kidz Sake Event on March 26, 2011,” George wrote in a letter to Prosper. “[The] Prosper team definitely made it possible for Big Brothers Big Sisters to continue to expand and thrive. Due in large part to your efforts, we raised over $25,000 for at-risk kids. We commend you for the commitments you made on our behalf and hope you had good fun as well,”
Paul Mix, an employee of Prosper and avid bowler was part of the Prosper team that attended the event.
“We always have a blast at the Bowling for Kidz event. It’s a fun and easy way to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah raise money for some of its programs,” Mix said. “We always look forward to helping them raise funds and having some fun while we’re at it.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is one of Prosper’s Community Action Partners.
