Continuing our tradition of aligning ourselves with inspirational thinkers in timely topics, Prosper Inc was a key sponsor for the 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Economic Summit Retreat in Wyoming.

As a sponsor and participant, Prosper employees were able to join in the experience learning from three of the top economists in the country learning trends and forecasts for the US and World economies. Prosper feels it is essential for all business leaders to stay on top of the financial ecosystem to better move the company forward.

The Summit featured David R. Kotok, William Poole, and John Silvia. Mr. Kotok is the co-founder of Cumberland Advisors, serves as the Director and Program Chair of the Global Interdependence Center and provides financial market commentary for the NY Times, The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and CNBC. Mr. Poole is the 11th President of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, a past member of the General Open Market Committee, Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute, and author of Principles of Economics. Mr. Silvia is the Chief Economics for Wells Fargo, a past economist for the U.S. Senate Joint Economic Committee, member of Blue Chip Panel of Economic Forecasters, and is a current Chair of American Bankers Association.

In addition to gleaning information from these economists, participants were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Jackson Hole, golf at the new world class Huntsman Springs Private Golf Course in Driggs Idaho and enjoy other unique recreational experiences.
