Prosper Inc joins with Smiles for Central America and provides relief to 450 individuals in Honduras

Focused on global community outreach, Prosper Inc donated funds to Smiles for Central America, an organization that provides dental and medical services to individuals in Central America.

Keeping with our tradition of Helping People Prosper and on community involvement, Prosper Inc recently donated a sum of money to Smiles for Central America to be used in their expedition to San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Volunteers from every vocation, including Doctors and Surgeons, provided much needed medical, dental and surgical aid to over 450 residents in this region.

The money was used to support Smiles for Central America’s expedition to San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Volunteers from every vocation, including doctors and surgeons, provided much needed medical, dental and surgical aid to more than 450 residents in that region.

Dr. Tate L. Viehweb, DMD was on the expedition and thanked Prosper for providing the means for his participation in the program.

"I would like to thank each of you for the willingness and generosity demonstrated in the support of my recent participation in the two medical service missions to San Pedro Sula, Honduras," Dr. Viehweb said. "Your contributions were used specifically to provide pre-operative, intro-operative, and post-operative medications for these individuals undergoing surgery. My experience and involvement was life–changing. Thank you so much for supporting this excellent mission."

Prosper’s involvement in innovative and charitable initiatives like this aren't out of the ordinary. Emily Forscutt, Prosper's Payroll Supervisor, said that she's seen many people served through Prosper's commitment to giving back.

"In the eight years that I've worked at Prosper, I've seen many people helped through the generosity of the owners and the employees," Forscutt said. "The money donated to Smiles for Central America is just another example of this exemplary generosity. Our leaders here at Prosper truly set the bar high with their example of service and giving."
